Technically you are supposed to wait until after you have missed your period and my doctor said to wait ten days after my expected period but I just couldn't wait one more day. I had a class in Yakima today so on my way home I stopped at Fred Meyer to pick up a test. When I got home I took the test and I figured if it was negative then I wouldn't say anything to Nathan and I would just wait until my period started..... or didn't. You hear of false negatives all the time and false positives are pretty rare so I figured it was worth it. After the two minutes were up I looked at the test and bam: cross hairs....POSITIVE!!! I was so excited I brought it out to Nathan who had no clue I was even taking the test. I gave it to him and he just stared at it trying to figure out what it meant. HA! I guess I should have spent the money on the one that says Pregnant or Not Pregnant. Once he got it all we could both do is smile. I know it is still early and anything can happen but we are very excited for this next chapter in our lives.
The next morning I took the second test and it looked exactly like the one above. I thought it was pretty clear but Nathan made me second guess my self. So, we decided to go to Fred Meyer and pick up the digital pregnancy test to make sure that we weren't over reacting to the first test. It didn't take very long after taking the test for the words to pop up. It just confirmed the first two tests by saying the word.......
