21 Weeks
This week our little baby keeps getting bigger and stronger. She is kicking, twisting, punching, rolling, and whatever other movements babies make. We don't know much about how she is actually doing but she seems to be doing well. She seems to be growing a lot and my baby bump is definitely getting bigger. I still just think I look fat to anyone who doesn't know but I am getting bigger. This week we were supposed to take our annual anniversary trip to Nathan's Aunt and Uncles beach house. Everything was looking good, we were packed the night before, there was a two hour school delay but the roads were clear, Nathan plowed the snow at both houses, Mu was moved over to the Kroger's house, car was gassed up, and our supply list was checked and double checked. Nathan and I headed out and made it up to the 410 & 12 junction, on the first curve we tried to avoid a large rock that was in the road. Instead of avoiding it, we hit it with the passenger side wheels and tires. The wheels were damaged and the tires popped, needless to say our trip was canceled. We eventually made it safely home and did our very best to make the most of our thanksgiving break. We still had a great time here at home relaxing and doing whatever we wanted. On Thanksgiving we were invited to the Kranz's and we really had a nice time with their family. We watched some football, ate delicious food, played games, and enjoyed some great company. Even though I am pretty stressed about the car and everything, I am so very thankful that we are healthy, happy, and in a safe place.

Seven Year Itch
Today marks our seven year anniversary. It is hard to believe that this was seven years ago. Sometimes it feels like it was seventeen years ago and other days it feels like it was seven months ago. I am honestly the luckiest woman alive. I have the best husband in the whole world. I know he will be an amazing dad for our little girl. He is so kind, patient, understanding, calm, and loving, He has made me into a better me and I don't know what I would do without him. He works so hard for our family in school, in the orchard, and around our home. I most definitely do not have a seven year itch, there is no one in this world who would ever compare to him. I can't wait to see what the next seven years have in store for us.

20 Weeks (1/2 Way There)
It is hard to believe that we are at the half way point in this pregnancy. I still fit into my clothes even though they are getting a little bit tighter. I think I am starting to show a little but I don't think most people would notice. I mostly just look chubby and a little rounder than normal. This last weekend Nathan and I went through all of my clothes and I gave some to goodwill, put some in a box for after the baby, and hung up a bunch of maternity clothes I inherited from Maria. I also got some fleece lined leggings to wear for the rest of my pregnancy. Baby is moving a lot these days, I used to only feel her if I was sitting down or laying in bed. This week was the first time that I felt movement while I was up teaching and walking around. We also picked up a new 5 cubic foot chest freezer on Saturday. It is something we have been wanting since we bought our house last spring and we finally decided to do it. It will be really nice to have the freezer so we can stock up on meals for after the baby comes. Our small bottom freezer in our fridge just didn't let us have room to stock up on meals, apple sauce, pumpkin puree, meat, veggies, and treats. Space is at a premium in this house so we were happy to be able to find one that fits perfectly in our laundry room between our furnace and water heater.

19 Weeks
This week I have been able to feel her move quite a bit. She keeps on growing, getting stronger, and her movements get more and more obvious. The other night I was laying in bed with my hand on my belly and I felt a huge kick/bump. I asked Nathan to put his hands on my belly and he was able to feel some small fluttering. She didn't do any more big movements that night but Nathan has been able to feel her move a few times so far. It is very exciting to share her movements with Nathan, it makes it more real for both of us. It still seems so unreal that we are going to have a baby. Other than being able to feel her move we haven't had too much excitement this week. School and the orchard still dominate our time these days.

18 weeks
This Halloween was pretty uneventful for us, we just did our weekly grocery shopping and hung out at home. We did get some treats for the two of us and watched Hocus Pocus on Amazon Prime. I used to watch it when I was younger on VHS and Nathan had never seen it before. Tuesday November 3rd was the big day for us this week. We had our 18 week ultrasound to check out how the baby has been growing. They did the usual stuff, weight (up 4 lbs) and BP (112/68), first and then we went to the ultrasound room. The first two ultrasounds we had it seemed like they had to search around for the baby. This time the baby has grown so much it was easy to find. If only the rest of the picture taking was easy. The baby was wiggling and squirming around the entire 30 minute ultrasound. The doctor was trying to get a picture of the brain but settled on the spine, then said well we need to measure the thigh any way. Eventually he was able to get all of the measurements he needed but we weren't able to get any good profile pictures so he printed off some alien shots for us to take home. He looked at the baby's gender and even though the cord was between it's legs he was pretty sure (80%) that ........
He said that the baby looked great and that she was measuring at 17 weeks 6 days so right on what they thought. She now is about 8.5 inches long, weighs 7 ounces, her heart rate was 153 bpm, and moves a lot. I am pretty sure that I can recognize her movements now and it is exciting because it makes it a little more real. Even though he didn't have the best view we decided to tell everyone that it's a girl. We get to have another ultrasound in 10 weeks and they can try to verify the gender then but like I told Zak we won't be 100% sure until she is born.
