Nathan and I would like to wish you a holly jolly Christmas and a happy New Year. This year has been long and full of many different adventures. Most of all, we really enjoyed being able to spend an entire year together for the first time as a married couple. This Christmas we were able to spend a little more than a week at my parents' in Bellingham. We had a lot of fun hanging out with my family since we don't get to see them nearly as often as Nathan's family. My sister and her family were also at my parents' so we were able to decorate the Christmas tree, play games, watch The Muppet's Christmas Carol, cook yummy food, open lots of presents, and have our gingerbread house competition. After a week of fun and festivities, Nathan and I headed back to Tieton to spend New Years with his parents. We had a get together at the Kroger's with family friends. Karen made shrimp gumbo and we played Trivial pursuit. We had a lot of fun ringing in the new year and we can't wait to see what 2012 has in store for us.
